As Joy and Charlie are thrust by the power of cannons into the sky of the amphitheater, I can hear a series of BOOMs immediately follow them: BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

I look down and notice for the first time that there are dozens more cannons all around the arena. 

More of these round, padded suits are being thrust into the air. I don’t know who’s in them. 

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! 

The balls bump into each other in the sky, and bounce off. 

“Yaaaaaah!” I hear Joy’s muffled cry of excitement. 

“Mommy!” I hear Charlie shout, but in joy.

“DID I FORGET TO MENTION?” the Tooth Fairy chimes in. “YOUR SUITS HAVE THRUSTERS! USE YOUR RIGHT HAND TO CHOOSE A DIRECTION, AND PRESS THE BUTTON WITH YOUR LEFT HAND TO TURN THEM ON!” 

Joy and Charlie immediately experiment with these buttons, as thrusters are turned on in each of their costumes, and they are thrown willy-nilly into the other players. 

Within seconds, all players are using their thrusters to stay off the ground, and are bouncing into each other with even greater speed. 

It all looks like a huge pinball machine in the sky. 

I can’t help but smile, looking at it and hearing Joy and Charlie scream instructions at each other. 

Suzy laughs. “That is amazing!”

She claps, then puts one hand on Justin’s shoulder. “Good going, Justin! Look what a great father you are!” 

Justin looks down dejectedly. “Thanks, Mom.” 

“This is amazing! What father can give this to his daughter?” she slaps his shoulder. “What a magical life she lives!”
