#244: Maybe Today

“Daaaaaaaaad!” 2-year-old Dragon Little complained when her father defeated a villain again. “I wanted to do it!”

“Oh, shoot,” he said. He had promised the previous day that she would do it today. “I forgot again! Tomorrow?”

“Tomorrow!”

“Definitely tomorrow,” he nodded.

“Daaaaaad” she yelled at him when he defeated the bad guy again the next day.

“Oh, no! Did I do it again?”

“You did!”

“Oh, damn, damn. Remind me again tomorrow, okay?”

She nodded.

But the next day, she completely forgot about it and didn’t mention it.

The next day her father woke her up shortly after appearing on Bonny’s Revenge. “Oh, dad,” she complained. “I think you’ll forget to let me beat the bad guy today! Tomorrow?”

He nodded. “Tomorrow.”

But that day Dragon Little actually did get to face off against the villain, in spite of her father’s wishes. I will tell you more about that tomorrow.
