Just as the lava creature finished telling Dragon Little the Dollies had a gift for her, Bonny’s Revenge appeared in the sky above her.
Dragon Father, who had returned to the dream just in time for his subconscious to create the lava creature, returned, as always, to the deck of Bonny’s Revenge, which was planets away from the lava planet.
Since then he had flown at full speed to help save his daughter. He had crossed dozens of stars in two or three minutes and now slowed down right above.
“Dad!” Dragon Little waved at him and jumped up and down in happiness.
“Go into the ship of the Pirate Ninjas,” the lava creature said. “The Dollies say that the pirates have stolen many toys from many children, hoping they could sacrifice them to me. All the toys that are on the ship are now yours.”
“Really?!” Dragon Little’s eyes opened in excitement.
”Go,” the lava creature said, and slowly descended back into the lava, disappearing into it.
Dragon Father had parked Bonny’s Revenge next to the Pirate Ninjas’ ship after seeing the lava creature was not a threat, and now he was standing next to Joy.
“The Dollies didn’t make it?” he put his hand around Dragon Little.
She shook her head. “They became the lava guy,” she said.
“And you beat the pirates all by yourself?”
She nodded and gave him a proud smile. “Yup!”
“Amazing!” he said. “Want to go to the ship, see what the Dollies and Ninja Pirates left us?”
“Uh huh, uh huh!”
“Let’s go!”
They climbed aboard the ship. The gifts themselves deserve a telling of their own, so tomorrow I will tell you what Dragon Little saw.
