“Dad! The monster is gaining on us!”
It was Dragon Father now driving the car Dragon Little had stolen. Its roof was wrecked and its speed was not at all what they were used to, flying in spaceships and pirate ships.
Dragon Little rose to stand and look at the dinosaur-like monster through the roof. “Give me a gun!” She offered her hand without looking at him.
Dragon Father had no gun, but she knew very well that he could produce any gun he wanted at any time. It was her reality, living in her father’s dream.
“Sit down, Joy. We don’t need guns to take care of the monster!”
He touched the dashboard, and the radio disappeared into the car, and buttons appeared from the inside.
“Watch this!” he said.
He pressed the yellow button and wings came out of both sides of the car. The car began to glide up and then spun around to face the monster.
“Yeeee hawwww!” Dragon Little shouted.
Dragon Father pressed another button. The headlights disappeared into the car and laser cannons appeared from the inside.
“Me! I want to shoot! Me me me me!”
“Go ahead,” Dragon Father leaned back.
Dragon Little pressed the button and blasted the monster with one shot.
Although Dragon Little did get the adventure she wanted, it was short, and it was not the end of her father’s unusual dream.
But I will tell you that part of the dream tomorrow.
